
Meet Andrea Buschbacher

Andrea is a LLPC who earned her Master’s in Counselor Education from Eastern
Washington University in 2020.
During her graduate internship, Andrea worked
with children and families with a focus on treating symptoms of trauma, anxiety, and depression.
After moving to Michigan from Washington State, she began working in private practice and developed a passion for using integrative and holistic methods in therapy such as meditation, mindfulness, art, and music for teens and adults.
Andrea has a passion for helping teens, young adults and older adults increase self-compassion and understand their strengths and values in moving toward their goals. She utilizes a variety of therapeutic modalities tailored
to the client and their individual goals, and draws from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Mindfulness, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, and Creative Expression through art and music.
She is also informed by Attachment Theory and
Internal Family Systems. Originally from the state of Washington, Andrea enjoys being outside in nature, hiking, being near water, and listening to music. She also enjoys spending time with her family.
