Meet Jeff

Jeff Zapor is a Licensed Professional Counselor. He graduated from Wayne State University in 2016 with a masters degree in Community Counseling. The primary thing that informs his therapeutic style is Attachment Theory.

Jeff also draws from Internal Family Systems, Emotionally Focused Therapy, and CBT. Jeff specializes in trauma treatment and substance abuse counseling.

Jeff is a Certified EMDR therapists and was trained by an EMDRIA-approved trainer.

Jeff also earned certification to be a supervisor and very much enjoys working with interns and limited licensed counselors.

Prior to being a therapist, Jeff was a lawyer. Many of the experiences he had while practicing law led him to want to be a therapist, and has helped him be able to connect so well with his clients. If you work with Jeff, you’ll quickly learn that he can “walk the walk” and “talk the talk”.

Jeff has three wonderful children.

For fun, he is way-too into building Legos and buying and selling sports cards.
