Meet Stephanie Elliott

Stephanie is a Clinical Mental Health Counseling intern and graduate student at Grace College.
She earned her Bachelor of Science in Human Development and Family Studies from Penn State
University and brings nearly 20 years of healthcare experience to her work as a counselor.

As a clinical director overseeing teams and navigating complex healthcare environments,
Stephanie has supported both patients and professionals through the very human side of
healthcare. That experience shaped her understanding of leadership, relationships, stress,
caregiving, and what can happen when someone spends years being the person others depend on.

Stephanie is especially drawn to working with adults navigating burnout, anxiety, life transitions,
caregiving, relationships, and the weight of simply having a lot on their plate. She has a
particular interest in working with healthcare professionals and caregivers, but enjoys working
with people from all walks of life.
Her approach to counseling is warm, conversational, curious, and down-to-earth. She believes

clients are the experts on their own lives and approaches each person with humility, empathy, and
a genuine desire to understand who they are, what has shaped them, and what matters to them
moving forward.

Outside of counseling, Stephanie loves live music and has been to more than 1,000 concerts. She
is happiest being active outdoors, laughing, playing a competitive game of euchre, or completely
unplugging on the shores of Lake Superior (her second home). Her Christian faith is an
important part of her life and shapes the way she strives to show up in the world, while she
respects and honors each client’s individual beliefs, values, and worldview.
